Focus Work

Focus Works (Vertiefungsarbeiten) at the Chair of Structural Design offer the opportunity to explore topics in the areas of construction, geometry or material. The work can be connected to one of the research projects carried out at the Chair, or it can be based on a topic directly proposed by the student. Focus works can be taken at any time. A list of proposals for currently available topics is included at the bottom of this page. The aim of a Focus Work is the pursuit of the following objectives: find an independent research question, explore different design and theoretical scenarios, develop appropriate answers in a scientific context.
