Low Tech High Rises
2020 - 2023

What kind of low-tech approaches enable the development of novel concepts for high-rise buildings? With this question deals an interdisciplinary research team, which focuses on the creation of sustainable urban living spaces. Thereby, social, economic, ecological, energy-related and technical aspects play an important role. The entanglement of these aspects leads to concepts for flexible spatial arrangements as well as new approaches for program, circulation, structural design, building systems and construction process.
